
Rachel Odes, PhD, RN, was awarded a Facilitating Community-Based Research Partnerships in Wisconsin grant to support the project, Mobile Crisis Teams’ occupational health and safety experiences. Support for this research was provided by the University of Wisconsin–Madison Office of the Vice Chancellor for Research with funding from the Wisconsin Alumni Research Foundation’s Donor Designated Fund.
The primary goal of Dr. Odes’ project is to develop and validate a survey tool that can be used to measure Mobile Crisis Teams’ occupational health and safety experiences through a community-engaged process. Community partners include Francisco Bonnín, (Madison Community Alternative Response Emergency Services (CARES) Team) and Ché Stedman (Madison Fire Department/CARES Team). The total award is $5,900.
