Wisconsin’s Leading School of Nursing

The University of Wisconsin–Madison School of Nursing, Wisconsin’s leading school of nursing, embodies the Wisconsin Idea through cultivating excellence in nursing education, practice, research, and health care in Wisconsin and beyond. The School is committed to campus and community partnerships, and our use of the state-of-the-art Signe Skott Cooper Hall enhances our teaching, learning, scholarship, and research.

Developing leaders for the profession and society, we make discoveries, enhance systems, and improve health through research, education, and practice. The School enrolls more than 1,000 students, offering Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BS), Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP), and Doctor of Philosophy in Nursing (PhD) degrees, plus certificates and continuing education.
