Dr. Jessica LeClair Awarded Grant to Study Public Health Nursing’s Capacity to Promote Planetary Health Equity

Jessica LeClair, PhD, MPH, RN, was awarded an Internal Research Grant funded by the School of Nursing Research and Scholarship Committee to support the project, Adaptation of the PH WINS Instrument Measuring Public Health Nursing’s Capacity to Promote Planetary Health Equity.

The primary goal of Dr. LeClair’s project is to build upon and prepare adaptations to the Public Health Workforce Interests and Needs Survey (PH WINS) instrument by developing nurse-specific questions measuring their knowledge of and confidence in their ability to promote planetary health equity. The total award is $16,618.
