Dr. Kitty Montgomery has been awarded a five-year, $3.1 million R01 grant from the National Institutes of Health to lead the study: “Defining Symptom Trajectories to Inform Risk-Stratified Approaches to Symptom Management in Children with Advanced Cancer.”
Dr. Bratzke was awarded a Nurse Faculty Loan Program grant to support the School of Nursing Scholarship Program. The project is funded by the Health Resources and Services Administration.
Kristin Merss, BSN, RN, was awarded a Ruth L. Kirschstein Predoctoral Individual National Research Service Award (F31) grant to support the study Perspectives of Correctional Officers about Older Adults in Prison: A Grounded Theory Study.
Kris Kwekkeboom, PhD, RN, FAAN was awarded a Palliative and Supportive Care pilot grant to support the study entitled, Rural Cancer Patients’ Symptom Self-Management Information Sources and Evaluation of a Web-based Self-Management Intervention.
