, was awarded a Nurse Faculty Loan Program grant to support the School of Nursing Scholarship Program. The project is funded by the Health Resources and Services Administration. The primary goal is to encourage nursing students in the DNP and PhD programs to become qualified nurse educators by offering a 9-credit graduate nursing education course sequence and by providing funding to doctoral students who complete the sequence and commit to being full-time nurse educators upon graduation. The total award is $123,380.
