Nadeen Sami Alshakhshir, PhD’24, MSN, RN, an alumna of the PhD in nursing program, shares why she chose the UW–Madison School of Nursing for her PhD program.

During her visit, she had the opportunity to meet her advisor and felt welcomed coming from a different country and culture. Her advisor connected her to participants for her own research study. The PhD program’s financial support enabled her to pursue her education and ultimately earn her PhD in Nursing.
