Dr. Madelyne Greene, PhD, RN, was awarded a grant to support the study Intersex Prevalence and Clinical Response. The study is funded by the Hillman Scholars Program in Nursing Innovation. The primary research aim is to determine the prevalence of common variations of sex development of patients in the University of Wisconsin Health System and the frequency and type of medical response to the patients. The investigative team includes Diana Love (School of Nursing) and Dr. Kelsey Lewis (Wittig Postdoctoral Fellow in Feminist Biology). Congratulations to Dr. Greene.
