Dr. Jessica Coburn is a Clinical Associate Professor at the UW–Madison School of Nursing. Jessica has been a Registered Nurse for 13 years, working in both academic institutions and public health entities. She is a current member of the Jefferson County (WI) Board of Health and the Wisconsin Nurses Association Public Policy Committee. Jessica teaches in the Doctor of Nursing Practice and PhD programs, with prior experience teaching BSN didactic and practicum courses. She is a UW–Madison Teaching Academy Affiliate and a Certified Nurse Educator.

Health Systems and Policy
- Inquiry into the Health in All Policies approach to systems and policy-level decision-making.
Professional Practice and Education
- Integrating One Health practices into the distribution of health information and resources to agricultural communities and workplaces.
- Exploration of new frameworks for academic-practice partnerships in public health.
Teaching and Learning
- Development of School of Nursing-specific writing support for DNP students.
- Organizing content for population health-related AACN New Essentials transition in the undergraduate program.
- Coordination of public policy learning activities for BSN students.
