Dr. Kristen Abbott-Anderson, an alumna of the UW–Madison School of Nursing, was named the new dean of the College of Nursing and Health Sciences at the University of Wisconsin–Eau Claire.
Dr. Abbott-Anderson previously served as the director of the Glen Taylor Nursing Institute for Family and Society as well as a professor in the College of Allied Health and Nursing at Minnesota State University, Mankato.
She knows nursing inside and out, practicing as a registered nurse for 25 years before completing her PhD program at the UW–Madison School of Nursing.
