This July, adults and children with Grandparents University® visited the School of Nursing to learn more about where nurses work and what they do. Attendees practiced basic nursing skills using human-patient simulators in the skills lab, tried computer games designed to teach medical terms, and learned about how nurses keep patients safe.

Grandparents University® offers UW alumni and the young people in their lives a unique opportunity to share in a love of learning. It’s a chance to create wonderful memories, strengthen connections, and enjoy hands-on activities in majors led by top UW faculty and staff.
