Dr. Susan Zahner and Dr. Barb Pinekenstein | Grant Award

Dr. Susan Zahner, DrPH, RN, FAAN, and Dr. Barb Pinekenstein, DNP, RN-BC, FAAN, were awarded a grant from the Wisconsin Partnership Program to support School of Nursing efforts in COVID-19 vaccination and education. The Badger Nurses Collaborating on COVID-19 Vaccine Education and Delivery (BN-CoVED) project is funded from January 2021 through June 30, 2021. The project aims are to prepare School of Nursing students and faculty to safely provide COVID-19 vaccinations and education, develop systems and oversight of vaccination and education programs, and staff vaccination clinics and community educational programs in collaboration with UW–Madison, local health departments and other community partners. Congratulations to Dr. Zahner and Dr. Pinekenstein!
