Dr. Megan Miller, postdoctoral fellow, has received a Research Award from the American Holistic Nurses Association to support her study The Role of Spiritual Well-Being in Pain Experiences among Adults with Cancer: An Explanatory Sequential Mixed-Methods Study. The primary research aim is to understand the role of spirituality and pain-related catastrophizing in experiences of pain (intensity, distress and interference) among adults with cancer. Dr. Kris Kwekkeboom, PhD, RN, FAAN, will serve as Dr. Miller’s mentor on the project. Congratulations to Dr. Miller!
