Madison 365 | March 24, 2026
Jeneile Luebke, PhD, RN, was named by Madison 365 as one of Wisconsin’s 28 most influential Native American leaders for 2026. The article highlights Luebke’s research, which focuses on gender-based violence in the lives of Indigenous women, using community-engaged and Indigenous-specific research methodologies, as well as her many honors and awards.
The goal of this annual list is to highlight the depth, strength, and diversity of leadership across our state. In the article introducing the six-part series, Madison 365 says, “We want young people in Wisconsin to see what is possible. To see people who look like them leading, building and shaping communities. To understand that impact is not limited by background.”
