The National Black Nurses Association (NBNA) has recognized Dean Linda D. Scott, PhD, RN, NEA-BC, FADLN, FNAP, FAA, for her decades of dedication, innovation, and contributions to the nursing profession by presenting her with the NBNA Lifetime Achievement Award.
This award recognizes an individual whose lifetime work places them in a position of high achievement in service to the NBNA mission and vision. This is the highest honor awarded by NBNA.
Dean Scott will be recognized on August 9, 2025, at the NBNA President’s Gala in Dallas, Texas.
