Join a Flexible Degree Program
Our classes are online and flexibly designed for registered nurses with an ADN. All classes (including a virtual orientation) are online and asynchronous in 7-week and 14-week lengths, allowing you to manage your time.

Dynamic Capstone Experience
As you approach graduation, you'll complete a capstone course that synthesizes the work you've completed and includes a dynamic experience that is unique to your interests, advances your practice, and applies what you've learned.

Get Career Advancement Support
A BSN can open doors to teaching, management, and professional specialization. The BSN@Home program builds on those skills in a way that stimulates critical thinking and provides the professional perspective necessary for a leadership role.

Join the Badger Nurse Network
You'll earn a respected UW-Madison bachelor's degree. Strong connections can provide valuable networking opportunities, career development resources, and mentorship for current BSN students and recent BSN graduates.

Unique Statewide Collaboration
The UW–Madison School of Nursing is one of six Universities of Wisconsin System campuses offering the BSN@Home Program. You can learn from experts in the field across the state.

BSN to RN Badger Nurses in Action
Maggie Cook Receives NAO Nursing Pin Award
For 12 years, Cook has worked in marketing, even owning and operating her own business towards the end of her first career choice. However, she noted that she was always encouraging friends and family who were preparing for their own college journeys to pursue a career in nursing because she herself regretted not going down that path.
“I have always had a strong passion for helping others,” Cook said. After realizing her true path was a career in nursing, and with the support of her husband, she made the decision to begin pursuing her dream of becoming a nurse.
