The Wisconsin State Journal recently featured UW–Madison’s accelerated bachelor of science in nursing (ABSN) program in their article, “Become a Badger nurse in just 12 months.”
The article explores the reasons why someone might pursue an ABSN degree, whether that’s a career switch, greater job security, a desire for a more lucrative position in an innovative field, or the need to help people at one of their most vulnerable moments.
The ABSN is a fast-paced program where students with existing bachelor’s degrees can hit the ground running and complete the coursework and clinical experiences that are required to become a registered nurse in just one year.
