Badger Nurses for Life
The University of Wisconsin–Madison School of Nursing aims to foster a dynamic, supportive network that connects alumni to the School, current students, and one another. By maintaining strong ties with alumni, the School of Nursing creates opportunities for professional development, mentorship, and collaboration. This engagement helps strengthen the nursing community, promotes lifelong learning, and ensures that alumni continue to feel valued as members of the Badger nurse family.
.The School of Nursing and the Nurses Alumni Organization (UW NAO) have remained close partners since 1927 when the first graduates decided to continue supporting the school’s mission. Since then, alumni have served as ambassadors, volunteers, and advocates. Alumni contribute to the strong reputation and success of the School of Nursing programs through their achievements and impact in the broader health care landscape. Please consider staying informed and engaged to inspire future generations of Badger nurses. Together, Badger nurses will transform the future of health and health care—for Wisconsin and beyond.
