Impact in Action
A Call to Serve
As the School prepares for its centennial celebration in 2024, we want to highlight the many ways Badger nurses have served in the military ranks or been involved with veteran’s affairs.
You Belong Here: Health Sciences Multicultural Reception
The underrepresented student and alumni reception is an annual event held in the fall for all nursing students and alumni who identify as racial/ethnic minorities. The event is an opportunity to engage students of color and alumni of color with networking and community building activities.
Lead Through Connection
The Badger Nurse Mentorship Program helps current students who wish to receive support from School of Nursing alumni as they transition from student nurses to professional nurses. Through community, support, camaraderie, and fellowship, Badger nurses are building connections, leading in the profession, and changing lives.
