Elisha Smith, DNP, APRN, AGACNP-BC

Biography

Dr. Elisha Smith is a proud two-time badger from the University of Wisconsin-Madison School of Nursing. He graduated with his Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the School in 2014. He returned to the School of Nursing and successfully completed the Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree with a focus in advanced clinical practice as an adult-gerontology acute care nurse practitioner in 2021. His DNP scholarly project concentrated on the evaluation of a newly designed dementia care plan in the electronic health record at a tertiary medical center.  Following his graduate studies, Dr. Smith pursued a postgraduate advanced practice cardiovascular medicine fellowship program in Charlotte, NC. He continues to work as an inpatient cardiovascular medicine nurse practitioner in the greater Charlotte area.
