Clinical experience: I currently work at UW Hospital on the Acute Care Surgical Specialties Inpatient Unit, caring for patients under the urology, ENT, plastic surgery, and gynecology oncology services. Previously, I worked as a registered nurse in an ICU and a cardiac surgery PCU.
Scholarly interests: Eliminating health disparities in underserved populations; enhancing healthcare delivery & access in rural communities.
Advanced practice goals: To work with hospitalized adults with complex healthcare needs or to work with adults in a specialized clinic. Clinical interests include cardiology, nephrology, critical care, or trauma. I have special interest in improving critical care access in rural communities.
