Biography

Education: BSN, Creighton University

Clinical experience: Two years at University Hospital working on the Pulmonary IMC and General Care Unit.

Scholarly interests: To minimize health disparities in older adults who suffer from limitations in optimizing their health. During her time at UW, Christy hopes she can be of assistance to those who are culturally, linguistically, and financially disadvantaged.

Advanced practice goals: Christy wishes to work with adults who suffer from complex medical health care needs. During clinical, she wants to learn more about the experience of older adults and how she can care for them to the best of her ability with changes in technology and new practices. Clinical interests include staying up to date with new evidence-based practices, updated policies, and nursing education.
