Clinical Experience: Three years at the American Family Children’s Hospital as an inpatient pediatric nurse. One year as a volunteer nurse at the Specialty Care Free Clinic in Madison, WI.
Scholarly Interests: Improving health literacy and self-advocacy skills in chronically ill, pediatric patients and their caregivers.
Advanced practice goals: To work with pediatric patients who have invisible, chronic conditions as a PCP who oversees the holistic care of patients. My goal is to improve their health outcomes and quality of life by enhancing health competency during childhood.
