Education: BSN, Chamberlain University
ADN, Madison College
Clinical experience: Four-and-a-half years at SSM St. Mary’s Hospital in Madison, WI including Medical Surgical RN, Progressive Care Unit (PCU) RN, and Medical Intensive Care RN. Davis has a wide variety of roles from staff nurse, preceptor, and charge RN.
Scholarly interests: Evidence-based management of acute illness, particularly in high-acuity and critical care settings. Through my nursing career, Davis has developed a strong interest in improving patient outcomes through evidence-based interventions, early recognition of clinical deterioration, and effective interdisciplinary care.
Advanced practice goals: To work in a hospital based specialty such as a pulmonary service, cardiovascular service, or advanced heart failure service. As well as a surgical service such as general surgery, orthopedic surgery, or plastic surgery.
