Biography
Education: BSN, UW-Madison
ADN, Chippewa Valley Technical College;
Clinical experience: Two and a half years in the operating room as a circulating nurse in specialties including; general surgery, urology, plastics, ob/gyn, vascular, and trauma surgery at Mayo Clinic Health System.
Scholarly interests: Addressing health disparities among at risk groups, providing culturally competent care, and promoting patient advocacy in the acute care setting.
Advanced practice goals: To work with adults in an acute care surgery setting. Clinical interests include acute care for adult/gerontology patients, the application of evidence-based practice, and post-operative patient care.
