Biography

Education: BSN, UW-Madison; BS, UW-Madison

Clinical Experience: Four years of experience in acute inpatient medical-surgical nursing.

Scholarly Interests: Kathryn is passionate about increasing access to primary care and reducing preventable hospitalizations. She’s interested in healthy aging in place and supporting folks in achieving their individual health goals.

Advanced practice goals: Kathryn’s goal to work in partnership with patients to treat and manage a wide variety of health conditions. She strives to increase access to affordable care and participate in efforts to improve the healthcare system through supporting healthcare reform and evidenced-based practice. Clinical interests include gerontology, palliative care, patient education and decreasing health disparities.
