Clinical Experience: Two years at Aurora Psychiatric Hospital includes Partial Hospitalization Program for the treatment of substance use disorders, perception of new nurses and students, academic literature review of current evidence-based nursing approaches; three years at University of California, San Francisco includes prospect development and research in support of neurological, psychiatric, and medical research programs and services.

Scholarly Interests: Advancing evidence-based interventions, promoting holistic care approaches, reducing stigma associated with addiction, and enhancing accessibility of resources for marginalized communities.

Advanced practice goals: To enhance access to comprehensive mental health and addiction services for underserved communities and at-risk populations. Clinical interests include trauma-informed care, integrated treatment approaches for co-occurring disorders, and advocacy for policies that support health equity.
