Education: Bachelors: kinesiology and nursing, UW Madison
Masters: exercise physiology, College of Saint Scholastica
Clinical experience: I have been a nurse for 7 years. Experiences include: heart and vascular at UnityPoint Health-Meriter Hospital (Madison, WI); IMC at Providence St Vincent Hospital (Portland, Oregon); pediatrics at Providence Center for Medically Fragile Children (Portland, Oregon); cardiopulmonary rehabilitation at Froedtert Hospital (Milwaukee, WI).
Scholarly interests: Improving health outcomes in underserved communities by targeting health literacy and reducing stigma.
Advanced practice goals: Long term goal of specializing in preventative cardiology. Also interested in working with health disparities in a community-based health center.
