The following goals, objectives, and strategies serve as a foundation to guide initiatives and operations across all areas of the School. Developed with input from faculty, staff, and students, these strategies are not binding but are encouraged as valuable ways to promote and support Inclusive Excellence (IE) practices. By aligning individual actions with these strategic objectives, the School aims to cultivate a culture of belonging where everyone feels valued and empowered to contribute.
The hope is that every member of the School sees themselves reflected in this plan. Rather than a one-size-fits-all approach, it is a dynamic framework designed to be relevant and actionable—aimed at inspiring personal reflection, fostering a collective sense of responsibility, and driving meaningful and lasting change that advances health equity within and beyond our community.
Instead of assigning specific roles or tasks to particular units, offices, or committees, this collective approach creates an environment where everyone can contribute their unique strengths to integrating IE into their work, study, and practice. Whether in teaching, learning, research, patient care, or support, each person’s role is integral to the plan’s success.
