Philanthropic support is essential to the nursing profession because it fuels innovation, expands access to education, and strengthens the pipeline of skilled, compassionate leaders. Named in honor of the first Dean of the School of Nursing, Helen Bunge, Cert’30, EdD, RN, this giving society is comprised of dedicated philanthropic supporters of the School of Nursing mission. Individuals or households who give a cumulative amount of $10,000 or more to the School of Nursing become members of the Bunge Society.
The Bunge Society has supported student scholarships, established chairs and professorships, honored the legacy of nursing excellence, and advanced the mission of the School of Nursing. These contributions not only shape the future of nursing but also ensure that communities receive high-quality, equitable care for generations to come.
