Nancy Foreman Kaufman ’71 lived and breathed the Wisconsin Idea. She dedicated her life to the service of others and demonstrated impeccable leadership through her numerous personal and professional endeavors.
As the School prepares for its centennial celebration in 2024, we want to highlight the many ways Badger nurses have served in the military ranks or been involved with veteran’s affairs.
No matter where their journey takes them, all Badger nurses have one goal: to change lives through their strong commitment to service. Whether it’s bedside care, nursing research, or addressing global health issues — such as poverty and access to care — that service makes an impact on individuals, families, communities, and systems around the world.
