Teresa Lincicum, MSN, AGACNP, APNP

Biography

Teresa Lincicum is a Clinical Instructor at the UW-Madison School of Nursing. Teresa has been a nurse practitioner for 20 years and is board certified as an Adult- Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner and in Cardiac-Vascular Nursing. She has practiced in both private practice and academic institutions. She maintains a clinical practice in the UW Hospital Cardiovascular Medicine department. She teaches in the Doctor of Nursing Practice program.

• Invited speaker at Wisconsin Chapter ACC Annual Symposium

Professional Practice and Education

• Participation in the Inpatient APP Collaborative
• Program development lead for multiple initiatives to include cardiovascular risk reduction clinic, medical weight loss clinic, TAVR program, CHF clinic, inpatient Atrial Fibrillation team and inpatient APP Cardiovascular Medicine service

Teaching and Learning

• Organizing content throughout the AGACNP specialty tracks to be aligned with national standards
• Developing active learning instructional activities including case studies and use of simulation and technology
