Practice Experience & Interests: Jennifer is a Wisconsin native who grew up on a small, family-owned dairy farm. She is an RN who uses a socio-ecologic framework to investigate health and well-being among rural populations, including influential factors like educational preparation of RNs and workforce issues. Her program of research focuses on reducing rural health disparities through community capacity development and community-based, culturally relevant strategies that reflect local values.
