Practice Experience & Interests

Caitlin is a PhD student with a minor in Population Health. Her background includes experience as an inpatient Trauma and Acute Care Surgery nurse, as well as a research nurse focused on implementing population health interventions for chronic disease management and health promotion. Caitlin’s research centers on substance use disorders and harm reduction, particularly exploring how interactions with the criminal legal system can impede health promotion efforts among people who use drugs.
