The Wisconsin Research, Innovation, and Scholarly Excellence (RISE) Initiative focuses on addressing complex challenges in Wisconsin and globally through strategic faculty hiring, research infrastructure enhancement, interdisciplinary collaboration, and educational opportunities. The RISE-THRIVE (Transforming Healthspan through Research, Innovation, and Education) initiative specifically aims to advance health research and improve health outcomes by translating medical and social science discoveries into real-world benefits. The School of Nursing at the University of Wisconsin–Madison is recruiting tenure-track faculty as part of this initiative. Successful candidates will join a vibrant and collaborative research community and develop externally funded research programs in areas such as aging, health determinants, health-supporting technology, and biomarkers. These new hires are expected to collaborate across various university departments, teach in nursing programs, mentor students, and contribute to creating inclusive excellence.
