Research Administration Specialist

This position supports the School of Nursing scientific enterprise by performing research administration duties within the Nursing Research and Sponsored Programs office (NRSP).

Research in the School of Nursing is centered around six signature areas:
* Aging and care of older adults
* Children, family, and reproductive health
* Health disparities
* Public health and health systems
* Mental health and substance abuse
* Symptom science and palliative care

This position will support a variety of research administration activities spanning these scientific areas and our overall research mission. This position is primarily responsible for working with NRSP staff to prepare research proposals, set up awarded grants, and monitor several areas of research compliance. The Research Administration Specialist will also play a large role in tracking and reporting various research metrics and attending to data management and storage needs. The ideal candidate will be an organized, detail-oriented person who enjoys working on challenging, time-sensitive tasks in a team-based setting. The person in this position should have a collaborative, service-oriented approach to their work and foster professional working relationships across the School of Nursing and larger research networks on campus. They must understand how their position fits within the SoNs inclusive excellence framework, which means providing a welcoming, supportive, equitable environment where all can thrive.
