Karen Frick Pridham Professorship in Pediatric Nursing

The Karen Frick Pridham Professor in Pediatric Nursing position is a full-time, tenure-track faculty position with the School of Nursing. The successful candidate will demonstrate a record of leading externally-funded, published research; research focused on transitional care for children with complex, chronic conditions is preferred. Research should be consistent with national nursing, pediatric, public health, health care, or health systems priorities for extramural funding.

The successful candidate will demonstrate expertise for contributing to teaching in child or family health areas, community or health care delivery, behavioral or physical health, or research methods. Experience with using active learning strategies, co-teaching, or teaching interprofessional teams of health professions students is preferred. Experience mentoring graduate students in research is preferred. An ability to positively contribute to School of Nursing goals of diversity, inclusion, and social justice will be required.

Relevant experience would typically be gained at research intensive university or academic health science center environments. A substantial, nationally recognized record of research, publication, teaching, and service meeting criteria for a tenured faculty position at the University of Wisconsin-Madison will be required.
