Please join us for “Power, Partnership, and Purpose: Rethinking How We Do Research.”
Power shows up in many ways in health science research. Being intentional about mapping power differentials and identifying opportunities for sharing and ceding power to community partners can be transformative. In this session, representatives from the Community Advisors on Research Design and Strategies (CARDS), will lead attendees in exploring three toolkits designed to support equitable research partnerships and apply the core principles and practices to their own work settings.
A collaborative effort between the Schools of Nursing, Pharmacy, Veterinary Medicine, and Medicine and Public Health, these sessions are designed to foster a more inclusive, engaging, and action-oriented learning environment.
