The underrepresented student and alumni reception is an annual event held in the fall for all nursing students and alumni who identify as racial/ethnic minorities. The event is an opportunity to engage students of color and multicultural alumni with networking and community building activities.
The event also showcases recent scholarships that are given by the School of Nursing to nursing students in order to diversify the nursing workforce. Lastly, it is an opportunity to meet current faculty and staff and learn about how the school supports them academically and socially.
